There was a time when no matter what your political affiliation, you could easily agree that Barbra Streisand was very, very talented. She's got a great voice with the emotional power of Judy Garland without the pain you can hear in Judy's later work.
At some point, probably somewhere between "Funny Lady" and "Yentl," she started to take herself too seriously (I think, this is just me) and the more casual fans fell by the wayside. This bag shows Barbra back before then, when it wasn't about her nails being like butter. When it was just that big, big voice. One side is made from "Je m'appelle Barbra," the other is from "The Second Barbra Streisand Album." I have tons...TONS of Barbra albums - I live in San Francisco, after all - on hand if you have a specific request for a gift (for someone else or yourself!) The purse measures 8" x 9" x 4" and features bead closure and vinyl handle. |
