It's like a little slice of the Riviera at home. Without that fishy canal smell.
Here's another lost remnant from the vinyl age - the travel album. Back when it was too expensive and way too time-consuming for most working people to travel abroad more than, say, once in their lives, there was the travel album, which promised to whisk you away to [wherever], to hear the exotic sounds and music of the [ethnic guys] without having to pay lots of money, learn another language, or drink the water.
They were particularly good for theme parties. Or remembering watching "Roman Holiday" back before video, when you had to hope and pray the local theater would have a revival of it if you wanted to see it again. Ever.
The purse
measures 8" x 9" x 4" and includes vinyl handle, and
button and elastic closure. |
